It's Saturday, so time for a dog song from For Love of a Dog. Today's dog song is a bit different. We're taking a stroll down memory lane with the song that was at the top of the music charts in 1953. Now, this is a classic dog song: How Much is That Doggie in the Window sung by Patti Page.
Sit. Stay. Grab a dog and enjoy an oldie, but goody, dog song accompanied by vintage video. After you've sung along with Patti Page, be sure to scroll down and visit some very cool blogs that are participating in today's blog hop.

apparently when I was 4 yrs old that song was my favorite and I had to listen to it over and over again.
now, all I could think was, there needs to be a song about adopting dogs not buying them from pet stores. sheeeesh...
Thanks for sharing the video. I've always sung this song to my dogs over the years.ReplyDelete
Fun idea to find these oldies... never saw that video before. Must have been made around the time of Lady and the Tramp? It's cocker spaniel puppy and they were so popular after that movie.ReplyDelete
Following you from the weekend hop...Please stop by and say hi and follow me too :)
Thank you all for your comments! We feature all kinds of songs about dogs on Saturdays, some have been about adoption and rescue.ReplyDelete
