Ledfoots Pet Bakery Dog Treats | Product Review

Let's get this taste test started...
When Ledfoots Pet Bakery asked if we'd like to do a product review about their dog treats, it was easy to say yes.

Jeffie, Rudy and Rosie are always ready for a taste testing.  I like trying new pet products and supporting small boutique businesses, especially when they're handmade.  Letfoots Pet Bakery scores on all counts.

Ledfoots Pet Bakery begin in 2006 when their first puppy was getting sick from store bought dog treats.  After doing a lot of research, they arrived at a variety of homemade dog and cat treats that are healthy and safe.

Ledfoots Pet Bakery dog treats are homemade with the finest human grade ingredients in Genoa, Illinois.  The treats are made in small batches and everything is done by hand.  They call that their quality control method.

For holidays like Halloween they make very cute festive shapes - large for big dogs and animal cracker size for small dogs.

We received two packages of dog treats:  Pumpkin and Peanut butter, which are their most popular treats.  Each were packaged in cute Halloween trick or treat bags.  Both of these flavors have some good health benefits.  Pumpkin is great for digestion, while peanut butter provides protein and is a good source of fiber.

Pumpkin Dog Treat ingredients:  Whole wheat flour, pumpkin, oatmeal, cinnamon, nutmeg, canola oil

Peanut Butter Dog Treat ingredients:  whole wheat flour, all natural peanut butter, oatmeal, water, canola oil

Undo the twist tie from these festive bags and you immediately smell the treats.  Yum!  The Peanut Butter flavor was in the small animal cracker size.  My taste testers didn't seem to notice the cute Halloween shapes - ghosts, pumpkins, cats - but I thought they were pretty cute.

Jeffie and Rosie approve of the smell of these dog treats!

Though they loved these, the real hit with my pack are the Pumpkin Dog Treats.  These were larger dog cookies - also in festive Halloween shapes - and the dogs went crazy.  Generously sized, these crunchy treats were the favorites.  Both flavors passed the Dog Daddy's test, too.

Let go Mama!

We especially like the fact that Ledfoots Pet Bakery never uses fillers, preservatives, artificial coloring or flavoring and no animal by-products.  Plus, no sugar.  Their recipes are designed for dogs with sensitive stomachs.  They also offer wheat free, corn free, and grain free treats for dogs with allergies.

Yummmm... these are seriously good!

I'm pleased to highly recommend Ledfoots Pet Bakery.  Just like you'd make in your own kitchen, without the hassle of messing up your kitchen!  Competitively priced and perfect for gift giving.

More, please!
