Jeffie - Golden Retriever / Border Collie |
Rosie - Golden Retriever and ? |
We celebrate Adopt a Shelter Dog Month every day here at Talking Dogs!
In Jeffie's case, his brother's photo was on Petfinder to represent all three puppies. When we arrived at the animal shelter, it was Jeffie who captured my heart.
In Rosie's case, she was a solo puppy and there never was a photo posted. We adopted her within 36 hours of her being listed there. They say timing is everything!
Oh my goodness! They are both beautiful dogs!! I adopted my Big Guy, Zippo, at our local humane society and he was just the best dog. I had him ten years and I still miss him so very much even though he's been gone a couple of years now. He looked like a black lab/newfie mix. I say everyone should adopt!! Great post!! xo Jeanne
ReplyDeleteYou adopted two beauties!! Our Cinnamon is a sweet shelter dog too!! Have a Wonderful Wednesday!!
ReplyDeleteShelter dogs are extra special! My schnauzer-mix Tramp is adopted from a shelter as well. Thanks for sharing your pictures. :)

ReplyDeleteThey are both so lucky to have found you!
ReplyDeleteCute pictures. Happy dogs.
ReplyDeleteThey are beautiful. My next dog will more than likely be from the shelter or pound. Not that Delilah hasn't been wonderful, I just think the shelters/pounds need more adopters.
