Herbsmith Freeze Dried Dog Treats from Natural Pet Warehouse | Product Review

When Natural Pet Warehouse contacted me about doing a pet product review, I accepted because they offered us some freeze dried dog treats.  After having tried some freeze dried dog food (that we used as topper), I've become interested in this easy way to add some of the same benefits as raw food to my dogs' diets.

We received one package of Herbsmith Smiling Dog Freeze Dried Treats in chicken flavor from Natural Pet Warehouse.  These dog treats come in a 2.5 oz resealable package for $13.99, though they're on sale right now at Natural Pet Warehouse for $8.49.

Jeffie, Rosie and Rudy are ready to taste test!
Herbsmith dog treats are meat based with complementing fruits and vegetables.  The chicken flavor includes apples and spinach.  These are grain free dog treats which contain no preservatives, no fillers, no additives and are sourced and made in the USA.

Ingredients:  Chicken, apples, spinach

Guaranteed Analysis:
  • Crude Protein   57% minimum
  • Crude Fat   9% minimum
  • Crude Fiber   2% maximum
  • Moisture   3% maximum
Rosie says:  Yum...
Our package of dog treats arrived within just a couple of days from Natural Pet Warehouse.  When I opened the package I was greeted with a very earthy, grain smell.  All three dogs definitely approved!

Rudy gets the first taste while Rosie and Jeffie patiently await theirs.
Rosie gets a taste and it looks like Rudy is ready for more!
These freeze dried treats come in small round wafers that remind me of those potting soil wafers that come with packaged Amaryllis bulbs.  They're small enough for training treats for our large dogs, but also easy to break for smaller dogs.

Jeffie, Rudy and Rosie loved them!  I'm pleased to recommend them.
The Talking Dogs agree:  GOOD!
Herbsmith Smiling Dog Freeze Dried Treats are also available in these flavor varieties at Natural Pet Warehouse:
  • Beef with potatoes, carrots and celery
  • Duck with oranges
  • Pork with green beans and peas
  • Rabbit and Duck with broccoli and cranberries
