The minute I opened the bag I was pretty sure my dogs would think this little dog cookies were a true treat.  They smell delicious and my dog agree. The cute little pumpkins impressed in each cookie make them Halloween pawty worthy!

I love the healthy ingredients, but do wish they were not so high in calorie.  Fine for Rudy, but they'll need to be rationed carefully for Jeffie and Rosie.

These treats are not a uniform shape.  Trying to halve them means they kind of come apart.  Plus, because of the irregular size of these treats, I had to use my judgement about the calories.  Jeffie and Rosie who are watching their weight, received the smaller bits.

Jeffie didn't care if these protein bars contained blueberries.

My dogs really love these tasty treats.  Even Jeffie, who does not like blueberries, would have liked to eat the whole bag. 

Our Verdict
Though I do wish they were easier to break into smaller pieces, I have to agree with my dogs:  PAWS UP for these healthy natural dog treats!

Sweet Rosie patiently waited her turn for these yummy treats.

These dog treats look exactly like you think sausages will look and come in a long "string."  You can easily rip or tear one off, or use a scissors.  Of course, my dogs wouldn't have minded a whole string...  However, since I couldn't find calorie information, they each got to try just one sausage.

Our Verdict - Paws Up!
My dogs love these duck sausages and their chewy goodness!  I like them because they're made in the US with US sourced natural ingredients.  They do have a strong odor - like any meat jerky product - but that didn't bother me at all.  Since I don't know the calorie content, I'll be feeding these sparingly.  However, I already know they make a great treat for a rainy day.

Jeffie, Rudy and Rosie will tell you - it's always a good day when they receive a delivery from Chewy!  

Not only is it a good opportunity to protect our home from the FedEx man, but it means there are some new dog treats in the house.

Recently they received some Zuke's dog treats to try and they were ready for the taste test challenge.


Zuke's makes several varieties of dog treats.  We received a one pound bag of Zuke's Mini Naturals Roasted Pork Recipe dog treats.

I like that they're made in the USA without loads of chemicals.  Zuke'
s has been in business since 1995 and has never had a recall.  The small size would be perfect for puppy training and for small dogs.  Yes, they're even good for training treats for my big dogs.  Though they did chew these little treats, as opposed to swallowing them whole,  Jeffie, Rudy and Rosie were not satisfied with just one.
