Dog Song Saturday: Most Loyal Friend A Dog Rescue Song

It's Dog Song Saturday at Talking Dogs and we're still celebrating national Adopt a Shelter Dog month.

Today's featured dog song and music video is a beautiful plea to adopt a dog.  Most Loyal Friend is an original song composed and performed by Judy Calem and Jim Beggs if Paradox Playground.

The video includes photos of dogs who have found their forever homes and some who may not have been so lucky.

Grab a dog.  Grab some tissues. Sit.  Stay.  Relax for a moment and enjoy Most Loyal Friend.

Then consider a visit to your local animal shelter.  If you can't adopt a dog right now, see what else you might be able to do to help those souls find a new happy life.  Visit Petfinder or Petango   Social network and share some dogs on Twitter or Facebook and get the word out.

  1. Hi Sue, I’m Anne from Life on the Funny Farm (http://annesfunnyfarm.blogspot.com), and I’m visiting from the Pet Blogger Hop.

This is fantastic! Shelter dogs are awesome, aren't they? Thanks for sharing!

Anyway, it’s nice to “meet” you! Hope you can pop by my blog sometime to say hi…

  2. I couldn't finish the video. How heartbreaking - we just pulled my Mom's new little dog from the shelter that houses over 200 dogs, my husband and I made multiple visits and it has changed us.

    1. I know what you mean. Our local shelter is a high kill rate shelter. Way too heart breaking for me to go there.

  3. Hey Jeffie, Hey Rudy, Jet here. Hi Miss Sue.

This was a multi-hankie for Mom. Reminded her of my story and the boys (Puffy and Fluffy) more than Koko and JJ. We posted about the same subject today... crossing fingers and paws that awareness will help find forever homes. :)
