    I hope that the many wonderful memories you have of Lucy will comfort you; I know right now the grief is almost unbearable and I hope it can be softened a little by the knowledge that you gave Lucy a great life full of love and wonderful care. My heartfelt sympathy for your pain.

    I can't tell you how sorry I am. I know that this is the worst kind of pain,
    but just know that she will always be with you. The greatest gift she has given you
    are the memories that will last a lifetime. You were her greatest gift.
