Cheese Dog Biscuit Recipe from For Love of a Dog Jewelry

Lucy and Jeffie begging for cheese.
My dogs are cheese hounds.  Big time cheese hounds.  They can hear us getting the cheese from the frig even when they're outside in the yard.  It's probably a fabulous psychic talent or something.  For sure they are wild about these Cheese Dog Biscuits, so here's the recipe:

1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1 1/4 cup grated cheddar cheese
1/4 pound corn oil margerine
1 clove garlic - crushed
Pinch of salt
Milk
Grate the cheese and let is stand until room temperature.  Then cream the cheese with the softened margerine, garlic, salt and flour.  Add just enough milk to form a ball.  Chill for at least 30 minutes.  Roll out onto a floured surface and cut into shapes.  Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes or until lightly brown and firm.  Makes 2-3 dozen depending on the size of your cookie cutter.

Here at For Love of a Dog Jewelry these dog treats do not last long!
