Adopt Mary Jane a #BlackLab and #SeniorDog @Wayside Waifs in #KCMO

This beautiful girl is Mary Jane.  She's a 7 year old senior black Labrador Retriever mix.  I just love that big white mark on her chest.

Lucky girl! She was already in a shelter when she was pulled by and taken in by Wayside Waifs, Kansas City's largest no-kill facility.

Mary Jane Would love to have a home for the holidays.  She already knows how to shake paws and is food motivated.  Read more in her adoption message.

Hey there, my name's Mary Jane! I was brought to Wayside Waifs when my last shelter ran out of space for me. It's okay, though, because I've been given the second chance at life that I deserve!
I'm a beautiful retriever, lab mix who weighs about 57 pounds. I'm big in size and in heart! I'll do great in a home with children or other furry friends but I'd like to meet them before heading home to get an idea of how I might do. I have a moderate energy level but because of my size I'll still need daily physical activity. I like to explore the world and will love going on long walks with you. Since I'm strong and can get a little distracted I'll benefit from using a harness on walks so I can learn to stick by your side instead of pulling ahead.
With some basic obedience training in my new home I know I'll make a well-mannered companion. I know how to sit and shake already and I'm eager to learn even more! I'm especially motivated by praise and yummy food! I'm a sweetheart who will enjoy quality time with you and lots of belly rubs. I'd love to meet you soon at Wayside Waifs! Tail wags for stopping by.
Love, Mary Jane
