Requiem Song For Shelter Animals by Rich Russom and Paul Killington | Dog Song Saturday

It's Saturday, so time for a dog song music video at Talking Dogs.  To begin the new year, we have something a little bit different today:  a magnificent song by Rich Russom inspiring the world to help shelter animals.

Requiem was recorded as an Anglo/American collaboration between Rich Russom and Paul Killington. The song was composed and performed by Rich in America featuring a guitar solo played by Paul in the UK.

Rich notes:
''Requiem, which means funeral song, is dedicated to all the animals who never made it to their forever homes and who are waiting for us on the other side.

The song says instrumentally what Paul and I find so hard to put into words."
Grab a dog to cuddle.  And some tissues, too.  Sit.  Stay.  Enjoy this fabulous instrumental tribute to shelter dogs everywhere.

Fetch some genuine dog song music videos at Talking Dogs.  You'll be surprised at how many we've collected over the past few years.
And... Happy New Year!

  1. Ohh I and my family are so sad, about all these unhappy dogs. Wish we could do more for them. My mom and dad want to rescue all shelterdogs, but unfortunately they are not able to do that.

  2. I understand what they are tying to do, but I am not sure that is the best way to encourage people to adopt.
