Rosie's Birthday Shopping | Monday Mischief

Rosie had quite a celebration this past week!  Who can blame her - you only have one very first birthday!
  
We celebrated over a few days instead of one big party and Rosie didn't seem to mind.

Most of the photos here are of Rosie taking a shopping trip at Tractor Supply.  They are the only pet friendly place in the town closest to us (well, other than vet offices.

Though she was there to pick out her birthday gifts, I think it's safe to say she enjoyed meeting the employees even more than shopping.

Rosie loved this guy!  She just could not hold a "sit."  And no, there were no treats involved!

That blur is Rosie's tale.  Though she almost always has a very serious face, that wagging tale gives away her excitement every time.

The word spread quickly through the store and Rosie made lots of new friends.

The dog daddy helped Rosie get down to the very serious business of choosing some new toys.

Squeakers!  Squeaker toys are good!  Look at that happy tail.

Rosie really liked the looks of this long snake that had three big squeakers!

Jeffie seems to approve of Rosie's choices!   Yup, she got that big snake, plus a new crackle toy, a new tire rope and some Mother Hubbard bacon and cheese dog biscuits.  I think that crackle toy is supposed to be a bear, but it sure looks like a giant vole.  No wonder Rosie like it!

On Saturday we all got a big surprise.  The doorbell rang and there was a florist delivery... for Rosie!  Her pals at Chewy.com sent her a beautiful bouquet of flowers and a birthday balloon!

Shopping, making lots of new friend, plus a stop at the Dairy Queen for a little dish of vanilla ice cream, treats with Jeffie and Rudy, and then her very first florist delivery...   it's enough to make even a birthday party girl need a nap!
