Talking Dogs Christmas Photos: Wordless Wednesday

Rudy is at the back door because he heard the camera turn on.  Believe it or not just a moment before he was nicely sitting in front of the Christmas tree.

Neither of my boys ever like to have their picture taken.  I used to think they were Amish, until my friend, Kristi, informed me she was sure they're in the Witness Protection Program.

The camera dings; the dogs race to the back door.  In this photo Jeffie has already removed Rudy's reindeer headgear.

Honest.  These are the very best photos of Jeffie in his reindeer headgear.  He HAS to be in the witness protection program.

Don't let Jeffie fool you.  There is nothing of interest out in the back yard!

I managed to catch a face shot!
Rudy is not amused.
The jig is up! He can now be recognized!

  3. That is just too funny! They really do look like they hate having pictures of their faces taken! My trick is to cover the little speaker with my finger when I turn it on so Gloria doesn't hear the ding. You could try that and if it doesn't work....well, the backs of their heads are pretty cute too! LOL!

  4. I know your photo pain, every time I get out the camera Dottie looks the other way or closes her eyes and Boomer looks at the floor or moves.

    Happy Wednesday!

  5. They look good anyway. You need a really silent sneaky camera with those guys. Maybe turn it on in the other room, and sneak up on them.

  8. My Christmas photos are horrendous. Perhaps it would help if I got a hat specifically for the dogs instead of trying to stick a human hat on them. :-)

  9. So funny! My Abby LOVED the camera. She'd start posing as soon as I got it out. She was such a super model. Miss that girl! Rita is luckily okay with - not as in love with it as Abby was, but at least she doesn't try to hide her face like your Witness Protection Pups!

  10. Lulu gets that way! She is so sick of having her pic snapped.

    Treats don't help?

  11. LOL! That is too funny! I cannot believe we posted similar pictures today. Only my dogs don't run. They just put on sad faces. I love the ones of Jeffie in the Antlers and looking out the window. Guess we both have dogs in the Witness Protection Program . :)

  14. Rudy and Jeffie,
I know how you feel about getting your photo taken, especially in reindeer gear! We dogs have become famous due to our blogs and need to keep a low profile! Happy Wagging Holiday Cheer

  15. So cute! I love dressing up (disguising) my dogs. Obviously, they don't like it so much. ;)
