This beautiful boy is Harley.  He's almost 2 years old and was a stray before he found himself at the animal shelter.  He's a bit shy of strangers and would really like a quiet forever home.

Hey there, I'm Harley! I'm an adorable hound mix weighing about 43 pounds who was found as a stray then brought here to Wayside Waifs! I'm so happy I made my way here because I'm getting the second chance at life that I deserve. I can't wait to find my peeps and get to my new home. Strangers can be a bit scary so I'll need to have time to warm up to my people and really get comfortable. I'll do best with children over the age of 5 and as the only furry friend in the house. I'll enjoy a nice, quiet home so I can relax. 

Exercise is an important part of any happy, healthy pup's life so let's get active! I love to explore the world on walks or romp around the backyard. I have a pretty moderate energy level so when we're done getting our workout in I won't mind curling up next to you for a relaxing, afternoon snuggle. Belly rubs welcomed! I'm super smart and already know lots of commands such as shake, look, stay, sit, down, come, off, drop it, and leave it. I'm also house trained! With continued training and extra motivation from yummy treats or fun toys I know I'll be able to learn even more!
