We have a couple of bits of mischief to report today. First, a giveaway!
It's time for the September giveaway of a piece of my For Love of a Dog jewelry. Enter now and you could be the lucky winner of this Copper Dog Bone Bracelet.
I combined big fat pink faceted crystal rondelles and gorgeous artisan lampwork beads. The lampwork beads have a warm root beer base with raised flowers in mauve pink. Then I added some dangles of more pink crystals and some amazing copper colored jasper gemstone beads. Gotta have some bling!
This dog bone bracelet is hand wire wrapped with copper jeweler's wire. The clasp is a copper lobster claw clasp. I just had to add a sweet antiqued copper heart dangle.
Barking good jewelry for the dog lover and another fun bracelet from the dog bone jewelry collection at For Love of a Dog. Don't like to wear bracelets? Enter to snag this to give as a gift to a special dog loving friend!

While you're reading this on Monday, Rudy will be at the vet. Friday night I discovered a large soft lump on Rudy's abdomen. He shows no sign of it bothering him or of any illness. Our vet was in emergency surgeries all day today (Saturday), so Rudy will see him at 8 a.m. on Monday. Would appreciate some good thoughts sent Rudy's way.
Update As I write this update (Monday 9:15 am) Rudy is in surgery. Though our vet suspects Rudy's tumor is a Lipoma, because of its size and location he recommended removal. We won't have the biopsy results for about a week. On Wednesday I could not see or feel a thing. Friday evening I couldn't miss the almost golf ball size lump next to his penis. Rudy will have to stay at the vets as long as he has a drain in the surgical site. I'll know more when he comes out of surgery.
Talking Dogs is the official blog of For Love of a Dog Jewelry.
Thank you to Snoopy’s Dog Blog, Alfie’s Blog, and My Brown Newfies for hosting Monday Mischief!
I really hope you are feeling better, Rudy! I hope the vet gives you good news today- I'll be thinking of you.

Dog Leash Holder: Handcrafted Silhouette of a Girl with a Puppy Dog on a Walk
ReplyDeleteThis handmade dog leash holder is a charming way to keep track of your dog's leash. Handcrafted pine plaque has a beveled edge and honey oak stain finish. The silhouette design is hand painted in black with a bit of a texture like leather. It features a girl with a leashed puppy dog, starting out or in the midddle of a walk. The peg hook is generous enough in size to hold more than one dog leash, a jacket or sweater.
Comes complete with wall hanger and instructions. A barking good gift for any dog lover.
Size: 4" x 5 1/2". Peg extends approximately 2" from wall when hung.
