My dogs love it when UPS pulls down our lane. Not only does it give Jeffie yet another chance to scare that guy in brown, but the dogs are always quite sure the delivery is for them. Of course, it isn't, but at this point I sometimes wonder if they recognize a certain kind of box.
The ones from Chewy.com, of course!
This particular Chewy.com box contained a package of Newman's Own Organics New Zealand Lamb and Barley Dog Treats.
These are organic hand-crafted ranch style dog treats featuring New Zealand organic lamb or organic beef. The treats, baked in small batches, carry the USDA Organic Seal, as they are made with 95% organic ingredients. New Zealand is known for its sustainable farming methods. They don't allow any GMO crops to be grown in their country and their sheep and cattle ranches are multi-generational family owned. New Zealand's climate, fertile soil and relative isolation make it ideal for almost any kind of production, from sheep and cattle to crops and horticulture. Like Newman's Own Organics other dog treats, these are high in protein, naturally preserved and contain no wheat or corn, no artificial colors or flavor enhancers, and are free of added hormones, antibiotics and chemical additives.

Rosie can't take her eyes off these Newman's Own Organics dog treats!
Jeffie, Rudy and Rosie loved these dog treats.
Rudy doesn't want to miss a single crumb.
I loved the size and the way they easily break into two smaller treats. I also appreciate the natural organic ingredients and that Newman's Own does not import any treats or treat ingredients from China. Their Premium Treats are made in Canada using ingredients sourced in North America. Their Snack Sticks and Dental Bones are made in the US with ingredients from North America. The Ranch Style Treats, like these we taste tested, are made and sourced in New Zealand.
Jeffie's eyes say it all: YUM!
Our verdict: All Paws Up!
Newman's Own is a food company founded by actor Paul Newman and author A.E. Hotchner in 1982.
