Adopt Lucy a Senior Bloodhound Dog in Missouri

This gorgeous girl is Lucy.  She's a black and tan Bloodhound who's about 7 years old.  As you can see, Lucy is a mellow girl.  Animal shelter staff report that Lucy is housebroken and walks nicely on a leash.

Check out Lucy's adoption video and you'll see she's a sweetheart.  For more information about Lucy, contact the Humane Society of Missouri at their Maryland Heights animal shelter:  314-951-1588.  Lucy's animal ID number is A561736.

According to the American Kennel Club, the Bloodhound is one of the oldest breeds of dogs that hunt by scent.  Affectionate and shy, they're sensitive to kindness, as well as correction.

We're participating in the Tuesday's Tails blog hop hosted by Dogs N Pawz.  This is the blog hop that features shelter pets.  Find a pet at your local animal shelter or rescue and join us!  Please help spread the word about these beautiful animals via social media and let's find them forever homes!
