Win New KONG Premium Dog Treats | Product Review

Jeffie, Rudy and Rosie love KONG dog treats, so when we were offered the opportunity to taste test some brand new KONG premium treats, we had to say yes!

We received KONG Pumpkin Stix and KONG American Chicken Tenders to try AND you can try them, too, if you're one of three lucky winners in our giveaway!

The excitement began with a FedEx delivery.  I know it sounds like crazy, but I'd swear my dogs know when the FedEx man is delivering something tasty for them!  They could barely contain their excitement as I opened the bos.

Sure enough... dog treats!  All three were eager to get their taste test started.   Contrary to these photos, the dogs do sit for treats.

Rudy wished his snout was small enough to fit in the bag.  When I opened the bag of Pumpkin Stix, all three dogs thought they smelled fantastic, though I noticed very little odor.   Small "sticks," these treats are small enough for small dogs and to use as training rewards.  Plus, they'd be great to put in a KONG toy.

Rudy was happy to oblige me with some nice photo ops.  I think you can read from his eyes just how enthused he was about these dog treats.

Rosie had a hard time being patient waiting for another treat and tried to join Rudy.

Rosie thought they smelled good, too!

Jeffie agreed!  Jeffie is my picky consumer of dog treats.  No fruit, please.  However, he definitely enjoys these KONG Pumpkin Stix.

KONG Pumpkin Stix contain no wheat, corn, soy, animal by-products or harmful preservatives or colorants.  KONG Pumpkin Stix are made with real pumplin which contains Vitamin A, C, E, K, Beta-Carotene, Fiber and extra antioxidants.  In addition, KONG Pumpkin Stix contain minerals, including manganese, magnesium, zinc, potassium, copper and iron, and are high in essential fatty acids.

KONG American Chicken Tenders are all natural and made with no fillers or additives.  They're made with 100% premium American chicken fillets.

Jeffie, Rudy and Rosie simply went wild for the KONG American Chicken Tenders.  I snapped lots of photos - all blurry.  The dogs were simply too excited.

These treats look and smell exactly like what they are:  chicken fillets.  The portions are large.  Each dog received two to try.  Thankfully, they did chew them (rather than inhaling them whole) and then spent lots of time examining the rug for crumbs.

If I had been thinking, I would have torn the Chicken Tenders into much smaller pieces, so the bag would have lasted longer.

KONG Premium Treats are made by JAKK's Pacific, Inc., which has partnered with the KONG Company to create their USA Made, all natural Premium Treat line.

We're glad to give the new KONG Premium Pumpkin Stix and American Chicken Tenders dog treats an all paws up recommendation.  Made in America by a company we trust, they're already on our shopping list!

  9. We just had our first Kong treats this summer and they were super yummy! I'm confused, is it Jeffie's birthday? I must have missed it if it is :( Oh goodness, my fur feels all ruffled about that! Happy birthday now, I guess.

    1. Emma, I'm confused, too. I don't understand all the birthday wishes... I've read and re-read my blog post to see what I might have said...??? It is NOT Jeffie's birthday. His birthday was in April. Just for good measure, Rudy's birthday is in October and Rosie's is in November. Anyway, these new KONG treat varieties are real winners at our house!

    2. Sue, when you enter the contest when it says enter a blog comment the message says Bark out a birthday greeting for jeffie or something like that. That is probably why they are wishing him a happy bday. Thanks for the contest.

    3. Mystery solved! Public proof that I'm an idiot! LOL. Unfortunately, I "recycled" the KONG giveaway I did for Jeffie's birthday, but neglected to change the wording in the comment option. Thanks, JoAnn!

  18. Great review! If my dogs could read, they'd be drooling. We haven't tried these particular Kong treats yet, but I'm certain the wiens would love them. They're pretty crazy about anything sweet potato.
I love, love, love all the pics! Especially the "Oh no, we ate them all!" pic. The closed eyes, the open mouth... it really does look like he's going on about something.
