It's no secret, Jeffie, Rudy and Rosie love to eat!  They're very food motivated and especially love dog treats.  We've taste tested lots of brands and many different kinds, but these are some of their favorites.  Your dog would love to find these yummy products in their Christmas stocking!


Evanger's Dog Food

The Talking Dogs love Evanger's dog treat and dog food!  We've reviewed several of their products and their canned dog food is a favorite at our house as a kibble topper.

Because a full course Thanksgiving or Christmas turkey dinner is not altogether healthy for dogs, we were thrilled when this company sent us some of their Evanger's Organics Turkey with Potato and Carrots Dinner.  Jeffie, Rudy and Rosie can hardly wait!

Delicious and nutritious!  With only 104 kcals/can, I don't have to worry about the calories.  With organic martket-fresh vegetables, I don't have to worry about the ingredients.  In fact, Evanger's Organics are certified organic by Oregon Tilth.  Plus they're hormone, anitibiotic and grain free.

That's a lot of tasty goodness to bark about!  We highly recommend Evanger's Organics!  Best retail price we've found is $31.13 for a case of 12 (13 ounce) cans at Chewy.com

We just discovered this boutique dog bakery this year and I'm so glad we did.  Paw Street Barkery brand organic dog treats use the highest-quality, human-grade organic ingredients and are made in a variety of shapes and sizes to satisfy any furry friend. Their gourmet dog treats are made on demand and in small batches to ensure the freshest product possible for their customers, without using artificial preservatives. The fresh-baked treats are then packaged in eco-friendly renewable or recycled materials.

I love supporting small boutique businesses, especially when they're selling handmade products and Ledfoot's Pet Bakery is a great example of just that.

Ledfoots Pet Bakery begin in 2006 when their first puppy was getting sick from store bought dog treats.  After doing a lot of research, they arrived at a variety of homemade dog and cat treats that are healthy and safe. Ledfoots Pet Bakery dog treats are homemade with the finest human grade ingredients in Genoa, Illinois.  The treats are made in small batches and everything is done by hand. Just like homemade dog cookies, but without the hassle of kitchen cleanup!  Retail prices for each kind of dog treat vary.

Lincoln Bark

It may be shallow of me, but one thing I like about Lincoln Bark's Sweet Little Butterpup Dog Treats is the name itself!  It's been a few years since the first time we tried these, but they remain a firm favorite of the Talking Dogs.

Made in the USA, these dog treats contain gluten free rice flour and potato flour, soy free peanut butter, rolled oats, honey, canola oil, Chia seed and water.  They do NOT contain preservatives, additives, artificial colors or flavors.

We'd heard of Chia Seed and this motivated us to learn more.  Often called a superfood, Chia Seed promotes health with more antioxidants that blueberries and eight times more Omega-3 Fatty Acids than wild salmon.  

Lincoln Bark evolved after the owners dog was diagnosed with Addison's disease when she was two years old.  Needing to boost her food intake, they began researching canine nutrition and baking their own dog treats.  Today, Sweet Little Butterpup dog treats still are baked by hand in small batches with 100% natural, human grade ingredients.  Retail price: $11.99

Sheltie Shetland Sheepdog Jewelry - Dog Lovers Holiday Gifts

Here's just one of my sable Shetland Sheepdog bracelets.  This one features hot colors of turquoise and orange in carnelian gemstone beads and crystals.  The little Sheltie dog charm is accompanied by a silver heart and dog bone, too.
