In Honor of Rudy - Labrador Retriever Dog Jewelry at For Love of a Dog

It is no accident that I have always had more Labrador Retriever dog jewelry than any other dog breed.  In the very beginning of For Love of a Dog Jewelry, my heart dog Lucy was my inspiration.  (That's Lucy in my For Love of a Dog business logo.)

Since I lost Lucy, Rudy has been more than happy to inspire me.  He's been a terrific model and is a great example of his breed.  He's also pretty sure there's a reason Labrador Retrievers are so popular:  Labs are fantastic!

Because Rudy's birthday is tomorrow, I thought I should feature my Labrador Retriever dog jewelry today.

My Borzoi / Russian Wolfhound dog jewelry is incredibly limited in selection, however I do have 2 Borzoi Christmas ornaments still available.  Otherwise there are 3 Borzoi necklaces, 1 bracelet and 2 pins.  I should warn you that this is one of my personal favorites of my dog jewelry and I'm still thinking I may keep one of the tri color Borzoi pieces for myself!

New Dog Bone Earrings at For Love of a Dog Jewelry

Lately, I've been having lots of fun in my For Love of a Dog studio making new dog bone earrings. Such fun creations that make great gifts!  (Yes, I'm already thinking about the holidays.)

Some of my new earrings combine hand crafted lampwork beads with gemstones and dog bones.  Others are variations of handmade porcelain WOOF dog bones.  Plus, there are some new angel and heart earrings in my Rainbow Bridge jewelry line.

The dog bone earrings shown above combine deep purple amethyst gemstone beads surround lampwork beads with a purple base and swirls of soft green, tan, purple and khaki.  Freely dangling tan glass dog bones.  Sterling silver french hooks.

These sweet pink dog bone earrings include snow quartz gemstone beads surrounding pale pink lampwork beads with raised rose pink flowers.  Freely dangling white dog bones and sterling silver french hooks.

New Equestrian Jewelry at For Love of a Dog

I love horses and always have.  That's why I keep an eye out for unusual horse and equestrian pendants and charms to incorporate in my horse theme jewelry at For Love of a Dog.  You might even sometime find a donkey or mule theme piece, simply because I can't resist those critters.

All of my jewelry is one of a kind and handmade.  Nearly all of my jewelry is one of a kind.  Once a piece is sold... it really is gone, so if you see something you like, lasso it right into your shopping cart!

Shown at the top of this post is a new turquoise cowgirl bracelet.  Beautiful blue turquoise gemstone beads are hand wired wrapped with silver jeweler's wire with lovely antique silver flower beads.  The clasp is an antique silver stirrup and horse shoe.  The charm is a western saddle.
