Celebrating Adopt a Senior Pet Month with Dog Jewelry

November is Adopt a Senior Pet Month and we celebrate senior pets every day at Talking Dogs blog and For Love of a Dog Jewelry.  After all, our own Jeffie, age 8, is a senior dog, our Skeeter is a senior cat, and we also have two senior equine.  Cakes is 32 and Ditty is 31.

We also celebrate with unique one of a kind handmade dog jewelry for people at For Love of a Dog. Shown at top is an ADOPT dog bone bracelet with turquoise and red coral gemstone beads.  The dog bone is hand sculpted from porcelain and this bracelet is finished with an adorable dog collar and dog bone clasp.

Your new best friend may be waiting at your local animal shelter.  The Adopt a Best Friend bracelet shown below would make a wonderful gift for someone who's just added a new senior dog to their family.  Gorgeous blue crystals and artisan lampwork beads surround a royal blue porcelain dog bone.  The clasp is a super cute paw print lobster claw and you'll love the best friend heart charm.

A similar option is this Rescue a Best Friend bracelet in beautiful shades of mauve and purples.

The Rescue Dog Bone Bracelet shown below is a fun combination of pink, peridot green and twilight blue.  Sweet artisan lampwork rosebud beads, fat pink crystal rondelles and tart peridot jade dangle beads are accented with gold.

This is just a very small sample of the unique dog rescue and adoption jewelry available at For Love of a Dog Jewelry. You'll also find jewelry with a message in this category, including spay and neuter. Each piece is one of a kind and make perfect gifts for that special person who loves a rescue dog.
