If you've ever considered buying a puppy from a pet shop or over the internet, you owe it to yourself to learn more about puppy mills. A couple of years ago Oprah Winfrey devoted her show to exposing the horrible truth about puppy mills. Unfortunately, not much has changed since that time.
When you decide to add a puppy to your family, be sure you are buying from a reputable dog breeder. Better yet, visit your local animal shelter or rescue and save a life.
