The HAPPY Act

The Humanity and Pets Partnered Through the Year (HAPPY) Act (H.R. 3501) was introduced to the U.S. House of Representatives on July 31, 2009 and referred to the House Committee on Ways and Means. If approved, this act would amend the Internal Revenue Code to allow an individual to deduct up to $3,500 for "qualified pet care expenses." Write to your U.S. representative today to urge him or her to support and cosponsor the HAPPY Act, H.R. 3501.

Making pet care more afforable is always something all of us at For Love of a Dog can support!

Woof! Tucker
