How About Some Good News: 288 Pets Adopted!

I don't know about you, but today I needed some good news about shelter pets.  And I got it!  A few days ago we announced a mega-adoption event in Kansas City.  Well, it happened and... drumroll, please...

In only three days, 288 dogs and cats found their forever homes!

Wayside Waifs and 106.5 The Wolf partnered with national ASPCA for the Kansas City Megamatch Adoptathon.  Participating animal shelters included Heartland SPCA, KC Pet Project and Wayside Waifs.

    Woo hoo! What a happy video! There is not enough good news in the world these days. We so rarely take the time to celebrate our successes before moving on to the next giant, depressing project. Thanks for lifting my spirits!
