Adopt Buddy Bear a Senior Black Chow Labrador Retriever Dog

We always feature an adoptable dog on Sundays at Talking Dogs.  Today, in honor of Tucker, we're barking about a black dog that looks like he could be Tucker's cousin.  Plus this homeless pup is currently living not far from Tucker's birthplace in southern Virginia.

Buddy Bear is a Chow Chow / Labrador Retriever mixed breed dog who really needs a forever home.  Poor Buddy Bear tested positive for Heartworm and Lyme disease and had to go through treatment.  As of March 2011, Buddy completed his HW treatment and was doing well.  However, he STILL does not have a forever home!

According to Harmony Rescue in Rustburg, VA, where Buddy has been living, Buddy is a great dog!  He is very playful, obedient, loves other dogs and really loves hanging out indoors when given the choice.

Buddy came to Harmony Rescue because his previous humans had to move and couldn't take him with them.  He's eight years old now.

You can view more photos of this beautiful black dog, Buddy Bear, on Petfinder.  You can also call the Harmony Rescue at 434-821-3544.  This good boy needs a home!
