For the Hounds - Adopt a Retired Racing Greyhound Dog

If you are thinking about getting a new pet, why not consider a retired racing Greyhound. These retired canine athletes make excellent pets. Racing Greyhounds are sensitive, intelligent creatures who adapt easily to home life and you will be rewarded with many years of unconditional love and companionship.

For the Hounds was organized in 2003. They are an all volunteer, non-profit organization. Though they focus mainly on Greyhound rescue, their members have vast experience, and dedication, working with all sight hounds (Greyhounds, Italian Greyhounds, Borzoi, Whippet, Afghan, Saluki ). Their main goal is to match the right hound with their perfect family. Even if you don’t live in the Clemson, SC area, if you’re looking for a sight hound you should be sure to check out the adoptables at For the Hounds.

Check out other dog rescue and adoption organizations at For Love of a Dog Jewelry's resource pages.
