Today's dog song music video is All About That Pit. The Streetdog Foundation put together this very creative video in honor of October's Pit Bull Awareness Month.
The Streetdog Foundation is a Memphis, Tennessee based dog rescue organization committed to finding loving, permanent homes for stray and abandoned animals in Shelby County. They do not have a facility, nor do they receive any assistance from the government. They rely solely on their community, volunteers, foster families, and donations.
A parody of the hit song All About That Bass, by Meghan Trainor, I have to say that I really like the dog lyrics best.
Because you know I'm all about that pit 'Bout that pit, no poodle I'm all about that pit 'Bout that pit, no poodle I'm all about that pit 'Bout that pit, no poodle I'm all about that pit 'Bout that pit
Yeah, it's pretty clear, I ain't no Labradoodle But I can be a good dog Like I'm supposed to do 'Cause I got that big grin that all the dogs chase And all the right muscles in all the right places
I see the magazines, or read those fru-fru blogs They think that shih tzus rule Won’t market other dogs If you’re a bully breed, raise your head up 'Cause you’re a pretty witty pitty From the bottom to the top
Streetdog they told me don't worry about your size (my bully-bully. my bully) They said, "Folks like a big ol’ warm bully to hold at night."(my bully-bully, my bully You know I won't be no full blooded papered designer dog (my bully-bully, my bully) So if that's what you're into then go ahead and move along ( my bully-bully pup)
Because you know I'm all about that pit 'Bout that pit, no poodle I'm all about that pit 'Bout that pit, no poodle I'm all about that pit 'Bout that pit, no poodle I'm all about that pit 'Bout that pit
I'm bringing Bully back Go ahead and tell them snotty pure-breeds that No I'm just playing. I know ya think we’re bad But I'm here to tell ya You’re a pretty witty pitty from the bottom to the top
