It's one of the hardest but most valuable lessons we can learn from losing our beloved dogs…not taking those moments for granted.
Yep, this is what I learned from Abby's death too. No wait - I learned that from her LIFE, not from her death. Miss Jeffie so much! Still hard to believe he's gone.
Oh Sue, my heart breaks for you. Hugs friend.
(((((hugs))))) and much love. I feel so bad. We all learned from your beautiful post. I miss him too xoxoxo DakotasDen
You captured a beautiful moment and made a wonderful memory. I bet Jeffie is smiling at his Wordless Wednesday pic.
We are sad, but so very sad for you. Good message, though because in just an instant, life can really change.
What a wonderful photo of Jeffie, and such a true sentiment. Oh, Sue, I feel for you so much. I was just writing a post about my first dog who I lost 18 years ago. It still makes me cry even though there are so many happy memories. The pain never completely goes away and yours is still so fresh.
Wow! Those are some powerful words. We always think that we have the time. ♥ ♥
Noah and I send hugs and paws and wrap our arms around you! Great words and pic. A great reminder not to miss those moments of life.
It's totally understandable missing a dog that you loved so much. It's a very appropriate quote but we doubt you ever took Jeffie for granted. Love Dolly
He KNEW. He knew how much you loved him Sue, stop beating yourself up. He loved you right back too. :-) Hugs to you my friend.
I miss him too.
Go ahead... bark at us!
