Yep, this is what I learned from Abby's death too. No wait - I learned that from her LIFE, not from her death. Miss Jeffie so much! Still hard to believe he's gone.
What a wonderful photo of Jeffie, and such a true sentiment. Oh, Sue, I feel for you so much. I was just writing a post about my first dog who I lost 18 years ago. It still makes me cry even though there are so many happy memories. The pain never completely goes away and yours is still so fresh.
It's totally understandable missing a dog that you loved so much. It's a very appropriate quote but we doubt you ever took Jeffie for granted. Love Dolly
It's one of the hardest but most valuable lessons we can learn from losing our beloved dogs…not taking those moments for granted.

You captured a beautiful moment and made a wonderful memory. I bet Jeffie is smiling at his Wordless Wednesday pic.
ReplyDeleteWe are sad, but so very sad for you. Good message, though because in just an instant, life can really change.
