Rudy cringes at the thought of more fireworks!
We live in a very rural neighborhood that enjoys extending the July 4th holiday as long as possible. Not just one neighbor, but 7 enjoyed fireworks beginning July 2 and continued until last night. It takes some coaxing to get Rudy outside even during the day since he's fearful the fireworks will begin again. No, the Thundershirt does not work. Shades drawn, music loud, and lots of cuddling help. We're surrounded by people who love big bangs. Sorry, Rudy.
Freighter says he can sympathize. Poor Rudy!
ReplyDeleteI'm with Rudy! Oh, and that face is priceless!
ReplyDeleteAww, poor Rudy. I hope the fireworks are finally done!
ReplyDeleteSorry Rudy. They aren't legal here, but people set them off all summer right up through the Labor Day celebration. When he was younger it wasn't so bad, but as he's aged Bailey hates the noise and he really works himself up.
ReplyDeletePoor Rudy! Luckily other than the big professional shows, fireworks are illegal here so we don't get all the neighborhood nonsense.
ReplyDeletePoor Rudy. I don't care about fireworks, thunder and loud noises, but Vaks is terrified and nothing helps him, not even cuddling with mom and dad :-)
ReplyDeletePoor Rudy! Looks like you've got a good system, though. Alma would similarly dislike them.
ReplyDeletewe're in the same boat! Cole hates loud noise and our stupid neighbors just love to be loud. All month long in July... grrrr

Awe poor baby!
ReplyDeleteI don't mind them too much, but it's no fun when you're scared. Hugs xx
ReplyDeleteI'm with you Rudy we have way more noise than that. I got a Thundershirt this year and it helped a lot. Love Dolly
ReplyDeleteAw poor Rudy! I like fireworks fine but the amateur ones can get old after a while (and where do they find all the money - it ain't cheap).
ReplyDeleteAww, the poor guy! He needs some strong GBGV girls to protect him. They go on and on here too but we don't care.
ReplyDeleteAwww, poor Rudy! That face :( We had lots of fireworks here too, but they didn't seem to faze Riley. The only thing he lives in fear of? The dreaded ice maker! :)
ReplyDeleteoh rudy so sorry you don't like fireworks,
ReplyDeletePoor Rudy. I'm with you, buddy - I've had enough of the fireworks! I think tonight is the first night it's been quiet here since before the 4th!
ReplyDeleteawwww... Donna finds hiding in an enclosed room and lots of treats helpful for thunderstorms... I;m glad it's almost over for you!
ReplyDeletePoor guy. 2 Brown Dogs had some kind of spray she used for Freighter, I can't remember what it was though.
ReplyDeleteWe lucked out this year, thankfully!!
