Devotion Fragrance by Viva La Dog Spa: Product Review

Jeffie and Rudy love fashion magazines.  Women's fashion magazines.  Their favorites?  The ones with the most perfume samples.  You know, those strips of fragrance that can't be avoided.

They like to smell the magazines.  They love it if I rub the strips on their fur.

They also love soap, body lotion, and other assorted scented things we use on ourselves and around the house that have a floral fragrance.

When Viva La Dog Spa contacted me and asked if I'd like to try their new doggie cologne, at first I thought "why?"  I mean, our dogs are country dogs who do not have spa days.  Then I thought about how much they love fragrance.  I couldn't resist giving the boys a fragrance thrill.

Our Devotion Designer Fragrance arrived promptly and very well packaged.  Wrapped in a cute paw print plastic bag, there was no way the product could leak out during shipping.

Best of all - it smells good!  All three dogs love it and I'll be using it!  It's just what I needed for that wet dog smell after swimming and that general doggie oder.  We give it all paws up!

When it comes to pet products that pamper your pet ... and aromas that please, fetch Viva La Dog Spa.  Pet products with a French accent are their specialty.

Devotion Designer Fragrance was named for "the chief characteristic  of all our canine children.
"... DEVOTION also expresses a strong commitment to pets.  We'd do anything for them.  We want them by our sides and we want them to look good and smell good!"

DEVOTION is a blend of soft floral scents - think a light mist of fresh flowers with the scent of raspberry.  The same fragrance is also available on their Mini Viva Dog Facial Wipes.   Handy for quick clean ups of chins and whiskers after meals or for dirty paws, these wipes also contain a conditioner.  Pretty handy in the glove compartment of your car when traveling.

  1. I love Viva La Spa products. Their deep conditioner smell fantastic and it works to get tangles out. I may have to try the cologne. I read another review about the whitening shampoo and it as a hit also. I love a company that cares about our earth by using solar power, buys bottles from other companies so they don't have to end up in landfills and recommends you to reuse the bottle for other things and not to throw it away.

    1. Thank you for the recommendation! I really wish I'd known about them when my mom's dog was with us. I would have loved to have tried the facial wipes for him!

  5. This makes me BOL! It's so hard imagining putting fragrance on a dog. Makes me think of that old book about the work horse and the farmer's wife dressing her up.

  6. Wow, that's so funny that your dogs like fragrances! Rita's fave fragrance is eau de worm.

Funny about Rosie speaking French. My hubs (who is French) says that all dogs speak French. :)

  7. I can't believe they like that smell! My sister and I don't like perfume like smells at all, but sometimes we end up having to have that stink on our fur for a few days. If this is mild, maybe it would be an option.

  8. That is so funny that they like stuff like that! How cute! Shiner absolutely hates getting sprayed with anything. We have some doggy perfume, but the scent isn't quite strong enough and doesn't last that long.
