Usually we feature an adoptable dog on Thursdays. However, today we're doing something a bit different. Wayside Waifs has released a new video Corner of Your Heart and you may view it below. Yes, it is targeted at raising funds for Wayside Waifs. However, it is an excellent look at what a great animal shelter can be.
Wayside Waifs occupies a special corner of our hearts. We found our sweet yellow Lab mix, Sherman, at Wayside years ago.
Wayside Waifs is the largest pet adoption center in the Kansas City area. They are a no-kill animal shelter and do not euthanize adoptable animals. Founded in 1940, they're funded entirely by donations.
