Go Orange for Animals to Prevent Cruelty

April is Prevention of Cruelty to Animals month. Join all of us at For Love of a Dog in going Orange for Animals.

Each April, the ASPCA urges supporters across the country to support their efforts. Throughout the month, iconic buildings and landmarks across the country will support their life saving work by lighting up in the signature color and Go Orange for Animals.

One of the most important events is the celebration of April as Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Month. Each year, the ASPCA urges supporters across the country to support our efforts and “Go Orange for Animals” throughout April, the very month ASPCA’s charter was signed in 1866. They officially launch Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Month on April 1, and throughout the month, iconic buildings and landmarks across the country will support our life-saving work by lighting up in our signature color and “Go Orange for Animals.”
