If you live in Missouri you need to head to Jefferson City,. Again. Today.
The Missouri Senate is holding hearings today, Wednesday, January 26 on the same three House bills I reported on Monday: HB 99, HB 94, and HB 131. All three would essentially gut Prop B - the Puppy Mill Cruelty Prevention Act.
The Senate hearings today are at 1 PM at the Missouri State Capitol in Senate Committe Room 1.
Can't attend? Grab your phone and call your district's Senator. If you need some talking points, you can read my Monday's Talking Dogs post or visit the Missourians for the Protection of Dogs web site.
These are just three of nine bills introduced so far in the Missouri legislature that would repeal or gut Prop B.
Don't live in Missouri? Prayers are not discouraged.
