| Flooding in our back yard. |
Rain and storms continue nearly daily at our house. Very strange weather for this area which is usually in drought mode this time of year. Our ground is so saturated that any rain causes flooding. Lots of the country roads and bridges are washed out.
Most of the rain comes with wicked lightning and thunder. And wind. Can't forget the wind. We lost about half of our little orchard to wind that simply blew the trees right out of the ground. Unlike many who have lose outbuildings or roofs, we're okay so far.
We wish we could share this wet bounty with all the folks who are praying for rain.
The dogs have been so depressed they declined posing for Wordless Wednesday photos. Rudy has about had it with all the storm noise. Jeffie is nervous, too. All three dogs want their (dry) yard back.
