Cat Rides Dog Rodeo Circus Act

My brother Jeffie likes cats. In particular, he likes our new cat Isabel. I can't explain it. I don't understand it. And now he's gone too far. He and Isabel are practicing for some kind of circus or rodeo act.

This is not a one time thing. Whenever Jeffie goes out, Isabel hops on board. She actually rides around the yard while Jeffie is on patrol. Now, as Head of Security, I have to say that I think this is totally unprofessional and I'm deeply offended by this behaviour. Afterall, cats are no good at security at all. I've tried talking to Jeffie about it, but he won't listen. Says it's a new year and I should get with it.

This all started one cold day when Mama made Jeffie wear his red sweater. Next we all knew, Isabel was climbing on board. To his credit, Jeffie did look a bit startled. We all thought it was hilariously funny and a fluke. Now whenever he goes out wearing his sweater or coat, there she is on his shoulders.

I get it that from Isabel's vantage point she should be able to alert us all to any danger, but come on! A cat is not even going to bother to tell us what she sees. By the way, our other cat, Skeeter, pretends that this is not happening. Like a good cat, she is above it all.

Woofing big time,
Tucker at For Love of a Dog
